Happy Thanksgiving!

Here is a recipe for the BEST PUNCH EVER...

Ingredients

• 3 (3 ounce) packages fruit flavored gelatin mix
• 4 cups white sugar
• 13 cups boiling water
• 2 (46 fluid ounce) cans pineapple juice
• 1 (16 ounce) bottle lemon juice concentrate
• 2 (2 liter) bottles ginger ale, chilled

Directions

1. In a large bowl, combine gelatin and sugar. Stir in boiling water until mixture is dissolved. Stir in pineapple juice and lemon juice concentrate. Divide into 2 containers( I use the LARGE Ziploc bags), and freeze until solid.
2. To serve, place gelatin mixture in punch bowl, and chop into pieces. Pour in ginger ale.

Christmas gifts

I have been really busy with this new unfamiliar territory of starting a side business. It is stressful when you put so much time, money and pride into making something with your hands...I want everyone to like them and love wearing them and appreciate them the way I do. I have posted a couple new pictures of my watch bracelets. I have met many wonderful people, made some great connections and at the same time, gotten some much needed "me" time. I am often at long events and get to spend time with adults and have a break from being needed at every moment by four little people. There is something so incredibly therapeutic about being creative and working with your hands! I hope with Christmas quickly approaching this will be a gift people will consider giving to the hard-to-buy-for person in their life. Here are some pics.....

Fall Mantels anyone?

I love fall so much. The changing colors, the crisp air, the boots and scarfs that come out of the closet. I especially love all the pumpkin goodies that appear in the restaurants and making my yummy pumpkin bread!
I decorated my mantel and it's a work in progress but thought I would show you what I have so far....

Destiny over at "A Place for Us" showed tutorials on making these easy but pretty paper flowers. You must try making them!     They are perfect for your fall decorating.

Watches!!

I have been super busy making watch bracelets.
I am trying to launch my business making these fun, pretty watches and help my family financially. I just love them! I love making them, I love wearing them! I love the versatility!They go with any outfit depending on the bracelet you buy. You can easily change bracelets and keep the same watch face. I for one always got tired of wearing the same watch day in and day out. But I've always loved wearing jewelry. Now I can have both!

As Real As it Gets..

I never thought I would be the blogging type and as you will soon discover I am NOT a writer.
This blog is my personal journey toward betterment. Bettering myself for the sake of a happier family and a more joyful, organized, peaceful home (and a less crazed momma!)
